While base is in testing

Your answers are filed under a random number, never with your name, email or postcode. Your political animal name lives on your phone, so share it as much as you like: nobody can match it to your answers unless you say yes to meeting your political twins. We keep your constituency, never your postcode. At a table, the room's result is stored without anyone's name. Common ground links carry the seven answers inside the link itself, so send them only to the person you mean. You can delete your answers at any time from My mandate.

Political twins

Your twin is someone on base who answered almost exactly like you. Until you both say yes, each of you only sees "someone", the country they're in and how alike you are. Saying yes stores your political animal name with your answers, so twins who've also said yes can see it. In a group, saying yes shows your name to the others in that group who've said yes, next to how alike you are, never your answers. A wave is just a hello: no messages, no contact details. Turn it off any time in My mandate, or in the group.

Your political nemesis

Your nemesis is someone on base who agrees with you least. It's a separate yes from twins. Until you both say yes, each of you only sees "someone", their country and how alike you are. Once you both have, you see each other's political animal name and country, and the questions where you picked the same answer. Never a constituency, never contact details, and no messages: the only thing either of you can send is a salute. Turn it off any time in My mandate.

Your key

If you save your base, you get three random words. We never store the words. A slow one-way hash of them is the only way to find your saved record, and everything in it (your random number, your name and your settings) is locked with the same words. Without them, the record says nothing about anyone. Lose the words and we can't recover them; make a new key and the old one stops working.

Never sold

Your answers are never sold, and never shared with advertisers.
