How base counts
Every vote, counted the same way.
No parties, no weighting, no hidden maths. Here are the rules, and where the count stands today.

92% of votes were chosen by hand. The rest are starting picks that voters kept.
The rules
- One voter, one pick per question.Change it whenever you like. Only your latest answer counts.
- Blank isn't a vote.Leave a question or a section blank and it counts for nothing, either way.
- Nothing leads until 20 votes. Before that, a question says "too early to call".
- Blind first.Who proposed what, and what leads, stay hidden on a question until you've voted on it.
- The country means the national polls.Never base's own voters. Independent polls come first, the newest figure wins, and anything over four years old is dropped.
- Parties are scored only where they take a position.Campaigns, unions and think tanks are named on every answer, but never scored.
- Starting picks count, and they're labelled. You can start from your Baseline or a party. A starting pick you keep counts as your vote, and the results show how many were kept and how many were chosen by hand.
- Your area gets its own mandate at 10 voters.Until then it counts towards the national picture only.
